Announcements for the month of May
Sorry it has taken so long to offer much thanks for the wonderful books given to our class from the book fair. We will soon have a new listening center thanks to points awarded through sales. Thanks to all who helped out with the book fair, in particular Sheila Young. Your time, energy and efforts are much appreciated.
Here are just a few things to note coming up this month:
We will be celebrating a simple May Day, next Friday, May 4th for the children. We are looking for some parents to volunteer to bring in flowers for lei making and help with making leis (each child will be given the opportunity to make a lei). We will have a special snack for the children on this day and we would love to see some hula dancers at about 10:30. If you are a dancer, don't be shy - the children would love to see you dance. Please see the sign-up sheet on the clipboard if you can help.
Our annual Walk-a-thon will be Friday, May 11th from 9:00-11:00am. All parents are welcome to help or watch on this day. It is always good fun. You should receive pledge sheets along with further information.
Those involved with graduation will receive further information.
You won't want to miss our end of the year Potluck, May 25th at 5:00pm. A sign-up for this event will be available soon. We can't believe the end of the school year is so near. We will certainly miss those families leaving our school and wish them well.
A busy month!
Much love and Aloha,
Miss Kay, Mr. Jeff, & Miss Audrey
