Usher training report :  Lisa and Colleen Lum did training for ushers and Pastor Tim trained alcolytes  and no Communion training happened that week
we need to do this again.  Another training in the  Next month or so.

We need to check with Colleen when we could do additional traimnings for Ushers, alcolytes, Readers, communion servers and Altar Care.

We need to find the Post card publicity for Lent that we used last year. .

Note; Jon lead  a Proclaimer training following our meeting.  Ruth and Pat came.  It was great fun

Claire was ill and did not come for the altar training,

Comment: Sundays after each of the services may be better times for training.

Re:  ELW Registration, Jan 20, 2007

Registration began at 8 am.

62 persons were pre-registered
19 late registrations arrived…  The last person arrived at 10am

13 paid at the door
6 were prepaid by their church

40 hymnals sent in advance
14 hymnals brought by Karen Parker

Pulelehua Quirk and Lea Del Castillo handed out the 54 hymnals.  A total of 20 more hymnals was needed.  Since we did not have enough, 15 Calvary members were asked to wait until the others arrived.  According to Karen Parker, the remaining 5 are  non-Calvary  participants and will have their books mailed directly to them by Pacific Synod; 2 to Mililani, 1 to Pearl City, and 2 to Lihue, Kauai

A carton of 10 hymnals was mailed to and received by Calvary on Feb 7.

Stephanie did advise the first 10 Calvary members on the list that the hymnals were in the church office for pick-up.

Stephanie has advised Pacific Synod that we need 5 more for Calvary members who gave their books up to save the cost of mailing.

Checks totaling $275 was received on the 20th,  along with $50 in cash.  This was turned over to Karen Parker at the event.
